Review Claude by Anthropic?
Reviewers mostly praise Claude for strong reasoning, long-context memory, and writing that feels more natural and less generic than rivals. Many say it excels at coding, debugging, multi-file projects, and acting like a real thinking partner across strategy, analysis, and content work. Founders of Fathom and UXPin say it helped customize workflows and produce more production-ready output, while the maker of IFTTT highlights tool use and MCP. The main complaints are strict message limits, weak image features, and some app or context-sharing friction.
Claude was the unsung hero behind much of Params Editor's core functionality. With its direct implementation style and practical approach to problem-solving, Claude handled the majority of feature development with remarkable efficiency. One of the most pleasant surprises came when Claude accidentally implemented hot reloading while setting up the development environment—a feature I hadn't even requested but that saved countless hours during development! When other AI assistance reached its limits, Claude consistently stepped in to maintain development momentum, demonstrating an impressive ability to understand the project's vision and translate it into functional code.
Disclaimer: We are on the waitlist and haven't used it actively...But if Claude 2 can deliver on the promised features, it will be a game-changer: 4X cheaper than GPT-4-32k is a big selling point as we are running agent strategies in production, which costs a lot. The better performance across multiple benchmarks, including math, coding, and reasoning, could be decisive for our use case: writing, maintaining, and healing end-to-end tests for UI. From our experience, achieving SOTA and tractable, consistent performance simultaneously in these functional areas is complex and could be a unique achievement. Code that does what it is supposed to and compiles is significantly more complex than letting the LLM hallucinate more creative answers. Compilers don't like creativity ;)
But the most important innovation is increasing the context length. So far, we always had to work on stripped-down versions of HTML, with 100k and 200k context that would change and should yield significantly better results.
Congrats on your launch; keep on innovating! We can't wait to try it out!
Claude is the heart of Slashy's AI layer. Its ability to follow nuanced instructions, maintain voice consistency, and handle long email threads without losing context is unmatched. When we tested LLMs for writing emails that actually sound human, Claude won.
Claude is seriously impressive – it feels like chatting with a thoughtful, well-read friend who’s also a genius coder.
It handles long documents like a champ (think 200K+ tokens), gives nuanced answers, and doesn’t just summarize – it actually understands. I’ve used it for writing, editing, research, and even debugging code, and it rarely misses. What I really love is how calm and conversational it feels – less robotic, more human. Sometimes it can get a bit wordy, but I’d rather have that than dry, one-liner replies. If you care about clarity, reasoning, and a solid mix of creativity and logic, Claude is easily one of the best out there.

Here's a strategic review of Claude 3 (latest version):
Claude 3 stands out with its exceptional context handling and analytical capabilities. Having used it extensively, here's what matters:
Key Strengths:
Superior code understanding: Remarkably accurate for debugging and development assistance
Data analysis prowess: Excels at complex visualization tasks and data-rich queries
Contextual awareness: Maintains conversation flow and relevance throughout long exchanges
Nuanced responses: Provides thoughtful, well-reasoned answers that demonstrate understanding
Performance improvements:
Enhanced reasoning capabilities over previous versions
More accurate technical analysis
Faster response times
Better handling of complex, multi-step tasks
Areas for consideration:
Message limits on Pro tier could be more flexible
Typography interface elements could be refined
Currently using it for code review, data analysis, and technical documentation. The accuracy and depth of responses consistently exceed expectations.
Notably efficient for developers and analysts who need precise, contextual assistance.
Upvoted for pushing AI capabilities forward. 🚀
As a software developer, I've had the opportunity to work with various AI assistants, and I must say that Claude by Anthropic stands out from the crowd. While my opinion may be slightly biased due to my background, I believe Claude deserves a solid 4 out of 5 stars for its impressive capabilities.
Claude outperforms other leading AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Llama 3.1 in several key areas . Its human-like responses and exceptional coding capabilities are particularly noteworthy . The way Claude understands context and generates code is truly remarkable.
However, there are a couple of areas where Claude could improve. The pricing of its API can be a limitation for developers who want to use it extensively for coding purposes . This may hinder its widespread adoption in the programming community. Additionally, while Claude's context window of 200k tokens is substantial, it's worth noting that Gemini can handle up to 2M tokens , which could be advantageous in certain scenarios.
While there is room for improvement in terms of pricing and token capacity, its overall performance and ethical standards make it a strong contender in the market. I'm excited to see how Anthropic continues to enhance Claude's capabilities in the future.

Im amazed with the reasoning of the claude models. Specifically opus series has been proved incredible in terms of large context window, intellectual reasoning and understanding the context. I also like code generation and bug fixing which pushes us to faster building, quick fixing and instant execution. Loved it!!
vs Alternatives
Long context understanding, fewer explaination and accurate marking of goal execution better than others.
I am using 3.7 strictly for coding, rarely something else. And it is by far superior to anything else I tried.
For content writing, I still prefer GPT, but for coding, just wow! Great job! First time I tried claude 3.7, I asked him to create custom sortable lightweight JS for me, and it created a solution that I couldnt create in a week. Without my instructions, it worked with nested lists, grids, had smooth animations, and much more. Crazy.

Incredible tool. Before I used it, I only had concepts. When I finally used it, I was blown away by the results. I used to automate some content management tasks. The frontend code it generated was nearly perfect. All that needed to be done was change a few variables, move it to my own infrastructure and connecting a database. I can't wait to see how Claude evolves!
Claude by Anthropic is a highly capable and reliable AI assistant, especially strong in reasoning, code understanding, and clear communication. It provides thoughtful, context‑aware responses while maintaining a strong focus on safety and usability. Overall, it’s a valuable tool for both technical and analytical workflows.
I have Claude open all the time, and use it multiple times per day. The model(s) themselves are awesome, but my rating is more about the Mac app. It's clunky, even after all these months of using it, and it often doesn't do what it says (try to save a PDF of an artifact it's created for you? Good luck—it silently fails so often).
