Hey Product Hunt! I built Clairlook because professional product photography was either expensive ($50-200/product) or required skills I didn't have.
As a solo founder selling products online, I was frustrated paying photographers for simple product shots. So I built an AI tool that does it in 3 steps:
1. Upload your product photo (phone quality works fine)
2. AI analyzes the product, removes background, generates scene prompts
3. Get professional images with various backgrounds and lighting
What makes this different from Photoroom or Remove.bg:
- We don't just remove backgrounds — we generate complete professional scenes
- 30+ presets: studio white, marble surface, lifestyle settings, creative scenes
- One photo in, 10+ professional variations out
Built with Next.js 16, FAL.ai for image generation, Supabase for backend.
Try it free with 10 credits — no card needed. Would love your feedback!

It’s a useful project for creating aesthetic photos, especially if you want to sell your products. It can save costs on photo studios. I created photos for a catalog using this project, and I really liked the results.

congrats on the launch, this hits a real pain point because i've spent way too much on product photography for simple shots that should be easy and the fact that you go beyond background removal into full scene generation is what sets this apart. most tools stop at the cutout but getting a complete lifestyle or studio setup from a phone photo is genuinely useful, the 30+ preset approach is smart too because it saves the "now what do i do with this transparent PNG" problem. bookmarked and trying it out with my next batch, curious how it handles reflective surfaces like glass or jewelry because that's usually where AI tools struggle. nice work and good luck with the launch!

tried the free tier, the marble preset looks insane for product photos.
