I haven't used checks in years. But if one is required this looks awesome.

Full disclosure here: I used to be a Checkbook.io employee.
BUT, I still use the service and I can share a major way I use it that is very applicable to most people:
Rent
After accepting his first digital check, my landlord loves it. I have it on recurring and it's autosent each month on time and he does nothing but see the email receipt to know its processing. This was after trying to get him to use Paypal or Venmo; we used Chase quick pay for a while, but that was tough since we had to pay separate payments over two days because of the amount limits.
And, of course, I do not have paper checks and have not since college, so there was no easy way to pay our landlord until we both decided on Checkbook.io as the best option amongst everything else.
@abhkes_krishna Krishna, excellent question! We support all banking institutions in the US currently on Checkbook including the smaller credit unions to send/receive Checks.
As of today, we're only compatible with banks in the United States, but soon, we will expand to include service in Canada later this year as well.
@sidsriramoju that's awesome. I will look into it to integrate with one of my web application Hoolaki.

I love these types of services that look to solving the problems of bridging the gaps between dated yet commonly used conventions with digital solutions. Fax is another thing that comes to mind.
