Hey Product Hunt! I'm Dustine, a podcaster and developer from the Philippines. Editing our multicam podcast took me hours every week: syncing two iPhones and a recorder, then cutting back and forth between whoever was talking. So I built CastCut to do that part for me. What it does: • Syncs every camera and the audio by sound. No clapper, no timecode. • Cuts to whoever is talking, even when everyone shares one mic. • Removes dead air, ums and false starts. • Finds the best moments and frames them vertically for shorts. • Opens a normal multicam timeline in Final Cut Pro you can still change. Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve are in beta. Everything runs on your Mac. Your footage never gets uploaded. An 80-minute episode takes about a minute on an M4 Pro.
