Seriously good discovery and the platform is true mobile first. I love that I can see books that my family and friends are reading and can text and comment based on their reading habits. And finally I can have my want-to-read list in its right element, which is not Google Keep. Also, my mother is a librarian and approves. G-R-E-A-T app!

I am disorganised as f*ck by nature, and this app is by far the easiest way I've encountered to keep track of books I want to read. It is the first thing that pops up in my head when I get a book recommendation - adding the book on Bookself has become a natural part of my routine. It helps me find new inspiration for things to read too which is just great. I'm a print-first reader though so I mainly use search and list functionalities.

⭐⭐⭐✴️✴️ 3/5 stars from me A good first try but many improvements are needed. - It crashed on me almost as soon as I created my account (log in with Twitter worked fine). - Without asking, it subscribed me to their newsletters (I received 2 emails right away, "You have a new book recommendation on Bookself" and "Bookself Weekly 📚"). - The interface looks nice but is not super intuitive. - Many books in the database are duplicates. Overall, I would not seriously recommend it at the moment... There are many issues that need to be addressed but I remain hopeful it's gonna be great eventually!

I click on Discuss, I get an infinite loading screen. I click on Discover, I see a few lists, I click one, I get a blank page. I tried disabling all extensions and still blank. This is not a good first impression :(
