My co-founder and I built BookmarkAI because we were completely fed up with native YouTube playlists becoming chaotic messes, and generic bookmark apps stripping away visual context from video URLs.
We wanted a tool that is fast, keeps your dashboard clean with rich visual previews, and respects user privacy above all else.

Honestly the semantic search is what sold me, I just typed "that productivity video with the whiteboard guy" and it actually found it. Way better than scrolling through my old youtube history.
@vedat02opThanks Vedat! That's exactly the exact problem I built this to solve. Just curious did you run into any issues cloning the repo and setting up the local environment to index your YouTube links, or did the manual installation go smoothly for you?
honestly the semantic search is pretty clutch, I searched "video about pricing strategy" and it pulled up something I bookmarked weeks ago with a totally different title. tagging being automatic is kind of the only way I'd actually use a tool like this

The semantic search actually works surprisingly well, found a video I saved months ago just by describing what it covered. Wish the Chrome extension was a bit snappier on slow pages though.
