I've tried HVMN but it just gave me an overwhelming large caffeine buzz for an hour and then I crashed quickly after. How does this compare to other Nootropics?

I'd love to hear from someone who has tried this how much better / different it is from just taking theanine + caffeine which costs around $0.25 "per capsule" vs. $1.83 per capsule for this. Is this really ~ 7 times better (or better at all)?

@alxcnwy Hey Alex, I was a beta tester for BetterMind this year. And that's a fair question. While Caffeine and L Theanine is a great base, it falls short when you compare to the more diverse and extended profile you get from including a purine alkaloid (theacrine), giving a longer, smoother effect, as well as the positive cholinergic action of the Huperzine and Alpha GPC. It’s like comparing a hot dog and ketchup to a fine gourmet brat with all of the goods on top. I highly suggest you switch or at least give Bettermind a shot. And how about them Bokke! I never tried this type of stuff or dependent on coffee , but it's interesting. Are you as fully dependent on this, can one stop taking this and still be alright?

@edisonjoao6871 Hey Edison! You can stop taking it and you’ll be fine. We use a low level of caffeine and that’s the only ingredient that anyone can become dependent on (and that's only at very high doses).

Early stage tester here, really enjoyed using BetterMind. I found it to be far superior to a typical L Theanine / Caffeine combo as it provided a lot more focus and gave awesome mental clarity

@baard_viken Thank you, I appreciate the opportunity to elaborate on your comparison. This product is very different than butter + coffee. The only similarity would be caffeine content which in BetterMind's case is a small part of its formula composition. A quick search of each ingredient will give you the results of clinical studies speaking to the cognitive benefits of each (e.g. Caffeine and L-Theanine are commonly studied for their cognitive enhancing properties). If those studies are too neuroscience-heavy, you can find a simplified version of each ingredient's effects on our website, and we'll be releasing a series of blogs bridging the gap between those simplified ingredient descriptions and the complex neuroscience involved over the next several weeks.
