better mind is a daily habit-building and journal app that helps you achieve your goals of positivity and self-improvement. get notified about one action to try daily, journal about how it made you feel, and track your progress as you grow with each day.
hey everyone! my name is mike, i'm the 22-year-old canadian behind better mind. as i've gotten older and the safety guards of my youth evade me, i've taken a real focus towards mental health. i have always been a believer in taking action to improve your situation, so i wanted to share my app with you so you don't have to struggle trying to figure it all out on your own.
a few months back, i started a methodology of choosing one thing i would try, change, or improve in my daily life. at the end of the day, i'd journal about how it made me feel and over time i saw a real progression with these small daily steps. instead of trying to keep it all in a notepad i can never seem to find, i developed better mind for myself and decided to launch it publicly.
at this point you might be asking how the app works. at the core of it is simplicity, so here is all you need to know about better mind:
1. receive one notification each day to review the action to implement in your life.
2. try the action and journal about how it has helped you improve.
3. track your progress over time by reviewing past journal entries.
4. that's it. become a better person and live a healthier, happier life.
i am a one-man, truly indie team that enjoys making purposeful apps like better mind. if you like my work, feel free to let me know, and constructive feedback is *always* welcome. one last thing for you if i haven't already sold you on the app - better mind is completely free with no ads.

hi @mikerowave, nice project! did you consider adding a web version? for the journaling part, typing long texts on the phone might be quite bothersome...
Hey @mikerowave , it's really inspiring to hear about your journey with Better Mind. I've downloaded the app and am eager to see its impact on my daily life. I'm curious, have you considered adding community features, like a system where users can earn badges for consistently keeping up with their habits? This could foster a supportive environment and a sense of achievement. Wishing you the best with this project. Keep it up. 👍
