My name is Brandon, I am the co-founder of Avra Core. Avra Core is a simple (and free 🤗) affirmation app designed for you and the community.
My co-founder and I went through a positive transformation in the way we talked to ourselves about our lives, experiences, and abilities (also known as self-talk). Affirmations were used in our everyday life and we wanted to build a more accessible, intuitive, and modern application. We came together to bootstrap this idea after using our internal prototype for 1 year.
Avra Core puts the user and the community first, so that personal growth is pursued on your terms. We're on a mission to make positive self-talk accessible for everyone and anyone, regardless of budget, location, and language.

@brandon_avra congratulations on the launch. Big effort for web + app and great story being bootstrapped. Do you support widgets? I pay for "i am" app just to have home screen widgets on iOS
@vincentkoc Hey Vincent! Thanks so much. Yes widgets are something we're working on and hope to release soon. What types of features you'd like to see for the widgets. Pinterest has a cool system to set up a "board" widget and have it swipe through pictures every hour.
@sitenley It really is Mertcan! We have heard great feedback from users that it helps them re-center throughout the day with their positive reminders! A cool affirmation we can create is "Prime Indies is going to have a successful launch on Product Hunt!!!" 😄 and I really hope it does! Wishing you the absolute best for the upcoming launch.

Hello Product Hunt community 👋 Happy 2024, we're celebrating the New Year here in Toronto by preparing our product hunt post for Avra Core! This was a pretty last minute decision, @brandon_avra and I were not sure if our product was "Ready" to launch.
This is the first product we've created, 1 year ago we thought (with our janky prototype delivering us poorly timed reminders) we should give it a shot to create an app of our own to solve our own challenges.
Fast forward to September of 2023, we saved enough to develop and launch the project. In that time, we've accomplished so much with our full-time dedication to the app and its vision. From generating our first 100 users and our first 100 organic clicks, there are many exciting firsts for our team (including this post).
We had no New Years plans so it was just natural to try and launch this with the best of our abilities. We really hope you enjoy this product and share it with those who may benefit from it. Working on a ton of new exciting initiatives and features!
