Seems that news free of ads, geofences, paywalls, and sensationalism, is something people want and need. Despite me only knowing English, I am now reading AskNews stories based on 14 other languages. The diversity is incredible. The StoryGraphs are absolute 🔥 and make it super easy to see direct links between people, organizations, and countries. The cherry on top is that AskNews is dedicated to open-source transparency and diversity. Presenting their methods at big conferences and releasing their models open-source to huggingface.
