ArTok is “TikTok for research papers.” As a researcher, I found it hard to discover new ML papers without getting stuck in recommendation loops. So I built a random, swipe-based feed for exploring papers. No signups. Free. Fast discovery, no noise.
I always found it hard to find new papers outside of my usual bubble. I thought a random feed (with no recommendation algorithms) might be a fun way to explore. But I also didn’t want to waste time on completely unrelated stuff—so the idea of a fast, swipeable format came to mind.
Right now, I’ve indexed papers from a few recent ML conferences to see if this might be useful for others too.
Would love to hear your feedback!
Hey Yogesh, can you please upload the YouTube video once again in this launch? The thumbnail is not preloaded, but after resubmitting, this bug shouldn't appear.
@busmark_w_nika Hi Nika, done! Many thanks for pointing this out :)

Ahahhhahaha I love the idea behind this, finally I can doomscroll but actually learn a bunch of awesome stuff - The UI looks very clean & the app itself has a great layout too!!
Will be sure to check it out & recommend to some of my tiktok-addicted colleagues!
Love the swipe-for-serendipity approach—super refreshing. Any plans to add quick context blurbs or TL;DRs with each paper? Could make deep research more approachable without losing the spark.
@shreyans_assistiv Thank you Shreyans! Yes this is something I am trying to figure out right now -- I added the 'AI Synopsis' today, which presents a blog-like summary of the Abstract. But this is still a bit heavy on jargons, I'll try to tune this for approachability vs fidelity.

@cranqnow Thank you so much, Sam! Glad you liked it. I’m working on bringing more features like TTS to add podcast-like experience 😀
