Articos MCP launched yesterday and ended the day at #1. 327 upvotes and a wall of thoughtful comments.
For a bootstrapped team, that caught us off guard, especially in a field this strong. We launched the same day as some great teams, @opencode , @Fina @Kai, and the folks behind them, @thdxr, @clay_raterman, @jim_hartung. Good day for all of us
Big thanks to @chrismessina for hunting us again. The pre-launch calls shaped the whole thing, the story, the flow, the maker comment. Chris pushed us to lead with the actual value instead of just it s an MCP now, and that reframe is a big reason yesterday worked.
Congrats Shaheer and Owais on the MCP launch. The pitch that you can stay inside Claude, draft a headline, and get ICP-matched pushback before shipping is clear. One edge I keep hitting in practice: after two or three rewrite rounds in the same chat, do the personas stay frozen, or can a later prompt quietly drift the ICP so the third test is no longer comparable to the first?
@genedai Thanks for the support, good edge to flag. The personas stay locked once built, same context and personality every round, so test three is still comparable to test one. And in the platform you can save them to a persona library and reuse the exact same audience across tests.
This whole simulated buyer concept feels like an echo chamber that simply repeats your own marketing ideas. You upload customer data and the LLM suddenly says your new landing page is a winner.. What exactly happens to the proprietary persona data that we send to their servers? What does the LLM do with that persona data once it lands on their servers?
@i_sajjad thanks a lot! looking forward to the feedback.
@i_sajjad Thx Sajjad for your support!
Shaheer, testing a headline in the same chat where you're writing it makes sense. I can see teams trying more versions when the audience check is right there in the workflow. Congrats on the MCP launch!
@oleksii_sekundant Yes!
@oleksii_sekundant thanks :)
So I actually use this to settle arguments with my cofounder about button colors and other things. It is of annoying because sometimes the bot persona gets fixated on random words in our drafts and just ignores the main layout. We end up spending twenty minutes arguing with a buyer, about font sizes.
I like the idea of testing messaging before shipping it. Sometimes headline sounds great internally but doesn’t really connect with the people you’re trying to reach. Getting that perspective early could save teams a lot of guesswork. Congrats on the launch!
am sharing this with our product marketing lead, we literally just spent two weeks manually collecting positioning feedback.
