built aios because my own workflow was getting messy. i was running claude, codex, terminals, browser tabs, notes, files, and local projects across too many windows. every tool was powerful, but the context lived everywhere. aios is our attempt at the missing shell: one native desktop app for agentic work. terminals, browser panes, files, notes, pinned apps, command palette, and ai agent sessions sit in one place so you can keep moving without rebuilding context every hour. it’s open source, mac build is live, windows port is in progress, and we’re shipping fast. would love feedback from builders who live inside ai tools all day.
