I built Aika because (and I know how this sounds) the world clearly didn’t have enough online timers.
I wanted something dead simple to follow the 20-20-20 eye-care rule (look 20 feet away every 20 minutes for 20 seconds). Every timer I tried was either cluttered, asked me to sign up, or wanted to “optimize my life with AI.” I just wanted a timer.
So I made one that’s minimalist, flexible, and mildly prettier than most. Aika runs right in your browser, supports desktop notifications, sequential timers, and fullscreen countdowns. No ads. No dashboards. No subscription pop-ups pretending to “unlock your full potential.”
It’s a side project I built for learning and fun, so it’s free and always will be.
