Automatically create step-by-step tutorials simply by recording your screen. Our extension figures out what you're doing, takes screenshots and turns it all into a simple step-by-step guide. Export as PDF/DOC, or embed them into a knowledge base.
Hey All π!
I'm Emil β Founder of Helpjuice.com & Wizardshot.com. We started building Wizardshot back in January after a customer of ours tried Scribehow and was frustrated by the lack of knowledge base integration (and pricing).
Wizardshot is a 100% free chrome extension that builds step-by-step tutorials simply by you sharing your screen. You can blur info, control the visibility (public vs. internal) of tutorials, and even embed your tutorials into a knowledge base (via Helpjuice).
Would love to hear your feedback on the tool!
I recently discovered this app and decided to give it a try. It looks incredibly promising and has the potential to save me a significant amount of time. As someone who sometimes finds it easier to create a web app than to write user documentation, Iβm excited about its capabilities.
It's an excellent tool, especially when integrated with the Helpjuice knowledge base. It would be great to see a desktop version that records other applications and pop-up windows in browsers that are not always captured.
I don't have to think about what I am doing when creating content for HelpJuice articles. Wizard shot records everything I do and I can then pick and choose which screen shots are required.
