we’re Jad & Sym, we have been building together for 5+ years and best friends for 10 !
We kept seeing companies hire “AI fluent candidates” who actually don’t really know how to use AI, and so we built Vibeonly. it’s like a HackerRank for AI fluency.
What makes Vibeonly different is that we are a real world screener meaning that we allow use of any AI tool to complete a challenge.
We believe the best way to judge a candidate is by seeing how they use AI to solve real problems. If they can do that to the highest degree, they should get the job.
You can send a test to any candidate and instantly see how well they actually use AI tools to get work done.

Hey Sym, how are you guys making sure the scoring stays fair and actually reflects real skill, not just someone gaming the system?

@vouchy Actually, what we believe in is that if someone finds a way to "game" the system with any other AI tools, they deserve to get the job since we are taking a legit "real-world" approach.
In the workplace, there is no such thing as 'cheating' so why should cheating be a thing in the interview process?

This looks interesting! What's the criteria here for "grading" the candidate's work? How long it to achieve the goal, or what steps were taken from Point A to B and so on?

- Prompting quality (how high quality are your prompts/steps and do they get you closer to the goal?)
- Quality score (how good the final result is)
- Speed (how quick can you get to the end goal)
We use these scores in combination to give the candidate a final score 💪

That’s brilliant. Finally, a way to measure real AI fluency instead of buzzword knowledge. Does it benchmark across specific tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Notion AI?

@roozbehfirouz we are currently measuring general prompting ability to get to a final goal & overall quality. With our same criteria we're extending this to specific tools! We currently support ChatGPT, Cursor & Claude Code with much more to come :)
