Why I built it:
I am a software engineer with deep passion for technology and marketing. I founded my first company fresh out of uni and bootstrapped it to 25M page views/mo and 1M organic followers on Facebook and Instagram. I never had a marketing person in the team, I was the only marketing person in that company.
Bootstrapping a company is hard -- it is lonely and nerve wrecking -- but through fast learning and passion for execution I learned the art of story telling, going viral on socials, and how to build organic distribution engines. I am bringing all of that learning to Okara.
Okara seamlessly integrates all of your website context in one place. And then, it runs all marketing channels on auto-pilot. You don't need to switch tools, hire agencies, increase team size, and buy plenty of subscriptions to get your product distributed.

how much the control do you have over what the agents publish??

Reddit is famous for being an unfavorable environment for promotion. How do the agents prevent themselves from being considered spam or having their accounts banned?

we only show you relevant posts based on your keywords and help you write authentic comments.
we don’t auto post anymore. we removed agent based commenting because reddit can shadow ban accounts that use external tools to post.

Does the Reddit agent post and replies from various accounts or does it generate drafts for me to post ?

the line that stops me isn't the content generation, it's "Influencers Agent: finds creators, runs outreach, handles payments." approving a draft tweet is low stakes, an agent autonomously wiring money to a creator it found and negotiated with on its own is a different category of trust. what's the actual guardrail there, a spend cap, a human approval step before any payment goes out, or does it just run once you've greenlit the campaign? also curious how "world's first" squares with being 7 months old already, feels like this is more of a relaunch than a first appearance, which is fine, just don't think the framing needs the superlative.
