Your key metrics live across different websites and dashboards. Motherboard brings them into one place. Track anything from any website. All locally and privately. Just click to track. No technical expertise required. Works with any website.

Hi,
A few months ago, I started building out my own ideas. Since then, I’ve shipped four apps. Like many founders, I care a lot about the numbers. Every morning, I’d check payments, analytics, bug reports, feature requests, and everything else across all my apps. It took way too many tabs and way too much time.
So I built something for myself.
It gives me a single place to keep track of everything I care about from any website. Revenue, trials, prices, tickets, subscribers, followers or anything else. Just click to track, and it refreshes the data automatically in the background.
If you're the kind of founder who likes staying on top of how your product is doing, this might make your life a little easier, too.
Best,
Preet
@preetmishra Hi Preet,
I’m Nima, co-founder of Bestofweb .site – we feature tools built by and for founders. Motherboard looks like a clean way to cut through dashboard clutter and stay focused. We're supporting your launch — hope you’ll check out our directory too.

@nimaaksoy Fantastic! I'll check it out.
@preetmishra ♥️
Great idea! Curious what your strategy is for getting users to migrate from their existing dashboards? I presume thats a big hurdle for ya!
Helploom
@dzaitzow Thank you! Getting started with Motherboard is as simple as clicking the values you want to track and starting to track. I’ve made it super easy to get value right away, so switching feels less like a hurdle and more like an upgrade.
@preetmishra but I guess my question is more related to strategy rather than the why. There are lots of products that could be better in theory - I am curious if you've given much thought into how to attract users who are currently paying for X competitor to sway them away from using that product to pitch them on the why.
Ex. are you looking at users of competitors / on their threads / on reddit / maybe you're signed up to their platforms and on their slack channels to determine what challenges their users are running into etc.
Helploom
@dzaitzow To be honest, I have not been able to find any competition yet. If I do, I will follow a similar approach.
I just completed the purchase.
It’s very simple and easy to use. I have a few questions:
Can the already created metrics be rearranged by dragging them up and down?
Is it possible to create tags for the metrics to allow quick categorization?
Helploom
@joseph_lin5 Thank you so much! Glad you like it! These aren't there at the moment, but I'll build #1 shortly. For #2, how many metrics are you tracking?

This is amazing. I was literally thinking—why hasn’t someone built this yet? Definitely want to try it out. Super useful for founders juggling multiple tools. Also, loved the video—clean and to the point. Great job!

@parth_ahir Thank you so much! Appreciate you trying it out!
Hi @preetmishra , gave you an upvote because your product looks really cool. Can see this serving several functions.
Can you have multiple motherboard dashboards which can be pulled up? For example, if you manage multiple brands or client data. Say, I want one for all of my business data in one dashboard, all of client 1's data on another dashboard, and all of my personal tools data on a this dashboard?
Can motherboards be shared or embedded? I know it's local-first, but is there any way I can have it running on a desktop which is constantly connected to the internet and have the data visible from my laptop or mobile device?
This would also be helpful for sharing dashboards with team members and/or clients.

@ryan_gee1 Hey, thanks so much! You can't do that right now, but I'm working on an update where you can categorize/tag your metrics into different groups (work, personal, client X, for example).
I have not thought about this much yet, but I'd like to have that someday in the product! Let's talk more: https://x.com/wickedmishra or https://www.linkedin.com/in/preetmishra/.
This is a very neat solution, totally can relate with the daily click click click!
Curious to hear if you built this chrome extension with a framework (e.g plasmo) or native? Handling sessions isn't a fun thing to do vanilla I guess.
Helploom
@thibaultgenaitay Thanks! I built it with WXT and React.
This looks very promising for small teams and individual web site builders. But you really should provide a free trial (30 days or something) technical hurdles or not. Also, the pricing bit seems a bit naive. Forever licenses usually leads to disillusioned developers when thousands of users demand more and more without ever paying a cent again. How about say €30 for the first two years and then a yearly support and upgrade fee? Or something like that. Good Luck!
Helploom
@arneby Thank you so much for your honest feedback.
The free trial isn’t straightforward. I’m currently focused on improving the product and releasing a new version. I do offer a demo option, and a few people have booked demos, which I think is better for now. The product still has some rough edges, and this allows me to work more closely with users. I’ll eventually get to the free trial.
I’d like to keep the lifetime deal as it is. However, you’re right about the support. I’ve decided to include only one year of support.
Have a great day! Thanks again!
