It serves as a single system for guest communication—answering questions, sending updates, and coordinating details automatically over text. Festa works proactively, tracking what’s changing and stepping in when needed, so guests stay informed and hosts stay in control without constant manual effort.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Kevin Qi, and I'm the engineering mastermind behind Festa.
Before going all in on the startup, I spent 5 years at Amazon working on Alexa (Weather + Timers), where I led large-scale, latency-critical systems used by tens of millions of people. That experience shaped how I think about reliability, orchestration, and speed.
For Festa, I built a novel real-time orchestration layer for live events that lets us coordinate hundreds of guests simultaneously over SMS with sub-2-second response times. Faster than anything we’ve seen in the world. The goal is simple: make every guest feel like they have a concierge in their pocket.
Outside of code, I’m an "athlete". I chase the same obsession with performance in the gym as I do in product development(500 lb deadlift pursuit, weighted pull-ups, vertical jump training). Happy to share more about both and excited to be here and grateful for the support.
