Sven here, co-founder of Dragonfly. I am so excited to finally share what we’ve been building.
My co-founder Sean King (@sean_king5) and I have spent our careers building and scaling startups like Zego, Permutive, and Peppy. We learned firsthand that a company's success is directly tied to the technology it chooses. But making those choices was always the most critical and time-consuming part of our jobs.
The Problem
Choosing your tech stack is broken. Most software decisions still rely on biased reviews, paid rankings, endless vendor demos, and wrangling spreadsheets. The recent explosion in AI tools has only made this harder. Leaders now face a firehose of requests for new tools, making it nearly impossible to evaluate the security, reliability, and interoperability of thousands of options.
Our Solution

Hey everyone 👋 I’m Sean, the other co-founder at Dragonfly.
Sven nailed the tech side of why we're building Dragonfly… but for me, it was more than just the technical complication; it was the financial and productivity pains. We've both led teams and multiple companies, and every time we've scaled, we’ve lost weeks just testing whether a new tool would actually integrate with the rest of our tech stack. And way too often.... six weeks later, the answer was: nope. Total failure. Cue wasted time, wasted budget, and plenty of chaos.
That chaos is one of the biggest hidden taxes on growing a business. So we built Dragonfly to kill that tax. Think of it as the no-bs filter that makes sure the tools you’re paying for actually work together.

Ran 3 queries through @Dragonfly and already found an awesome tool for my team to use for automating competitor analysis in real-time that wasn't being surfaced on Gemini or GPT with my parameters.

Exciting!
Today is a massive milestone for @Dragonfly. I'm so proud to have been part of the journey from day one and watch the product come to life from the ground up.
On the ops side, the last 7 months have been intense — setting up the company from scratch, hiring the first team, building our compliance and security framework (ISO 27001 ✅), putting in place the financial and HR backbone, and designing the processes that let a tiny, distributed team ship fast without breaking trust.
It’s been a wild mix of legal, payroll, and vendor risk reviews, along with countless spreadsheets. All so we could launch confidently today.
Massive respect to the whole team for making this happen. I'm excited to see where we take it next 🚀

Just ran a search in ChatGPT and Dragonfly. Hands down ChatGPT wasn’t fit for purpose and Dragonfly shared exactly what I was looking for.
