@bengeekly @amraniyasser Congrats on the launch, guys!
You created some really cool stuff <3
I’m a member of Doneas and really loving it so far. Planning to join the calls soon =)
Just a couple of questions:
is it necessary to join calls every day, or can you schedule calls whenever you want?
And how are the groups created? How do the 5 people arrange a call - is it random, or is there some kind of matching system?
@amraniyasser @adana The rule is to join daily, but you can announce in advance when you are not joining. If you don't you get a red point.
Here is an example of a circle
When you choose the time, we assign to an available group in that time randomly and we shuffle every month with people in the same time. We will have a matching system when we have enough builders
@adana Thanks a lot 🧡
If you can’t join, just mark it on the platform, that’s it!! If you miss a call without letting anyone know, it counts as a missed call🚨
Your circle depends on the call time you choose, but you can switch whenever you want!!
@amraniyasser @bengeekly Thanks for the details! Wish you lots of success!
adana Thank youu 🙏
What if I miss one of the calls? Some days I am just too busy.
@tatsiana_tsybukova It happened sometimes!! You just have to announce in advance when you are not joining!!
@tatsiana_tsybukova If you announce it in advance there is no problem, if you miss 3 days in a row without announcing it, your account get inactive, until you activate it again, so we keep circles active
@tatsiana_tsybukova I've attended 85% of the calls myself, so I definitely haven't made every single one either + you can always mark days as not attending or travelling :))
I collaborated with @bengeekly on different projects before joining the Doneas team. When he started building it, I was happy to join and help grow the community.
I've always struggled with staying organized. I used to switch from one task to another and procrastinate a lot. Doneas has helped me plan my weeks and days, and actually finish my tasks.
I particularly appreciate the daily accountability calls with other founders. We talk about what we're working on, share our problems, and help each other out. Sometimes someone has already dealt with the same issue and has tips or advice that really help.
Really happy to be part of the team! 🚀
@bengeekly @alicia_verrando The calls are one of my favourite parts too! It makes such a difference to have other founders to talk things through with. You start by sharing your tasks and end up building genuine connections :)
@alicia_verrando Happy to have you with us
@bengeekly @alicia_verrando Happy to collaborate with you on this one !!
congrats :) can you give me more information how is work ?
@vincent_cigale
You signup
Choose a time for your daily
We assign you to a Circle (For next day)
Everyday you join the call at the same time with Entrepreneurs, and answer 2 questions: What did you do Yesterday, What is your plan for today?
Calls are supposed to be 15mins but you can stay for a discussion after the end of the call.
The platform help you plan your week, and there is a leaderboard.
@vincent_cigale Sign up on doneas.com and choose your time for the daily calls, and let's the magic happen!! After the first call, you will see how easy it is !!
Great product, how did you exactly came up with the idea though? Did you or someone you knew faced this problem?
@siddheshkulthe Honestly, I only solve problems I have, I really struggled with waking up or doing what I promised to myself or keeping habits after traveling so I started doing daily calls
@bengeekly that's a great take. Can you tell me how does this differ from flow.club or other similar alternatives?
@siddheshkulthe In Flow you work during the call, in Doneas you just do your standup.
Also we are daily at the same time, you don't need to choose sessions everytime
@siddheshkulthe I struggled to be productive for a long time. We first started doing daily calls on Google Meet, but it wasn’t really working for us.. . So @bengeekly built @Doneas , we kept improving it, and now we’ve opened it to other entrepreneurs!!
@siddheshkulthe We've all struggled with productivity/staying organized
Congrats on launch team! Very interesting idea. I know that this works in many other areas, from fitness to weight loss and now here. How do you group founders into one group, so that they are relevant to each other? Good luck with the project!
@davitausberlin For now, the group are randomized, we will start doing interest when we have more users
⚾️ "Curve ball" question: 🙋 Shipping is easy in 2026. Shipping quality is scarce these days. How do you balance shipping vanity over quality?
@alchemist_studio That’s where it gets interesting!! Once you join the daily calls regularly, the other founders used to know your project and start challenging you. In my experience, someone eventually asks THE question: “When are you going to start selling?” 😂 That really makes you think about what you’re spending your time on.
You also have your roadmap with goals for the next month, 3 months.... so when you plan your tasks, you have those goals and can ask yourself if what you’re doing actually helps you get there.
@amraniyasser Right familiarity and shared incentive is the value! Why didnt you lead with that!!!!! I think you need to add me to your Doneas accountabilit group 😸
@alchemist_studio welcome !! Create an account on doneas and let start our dailies !!
@alchemist_studio During the calls you have your tasks and objectives visible to everyone.
Other builders might notice and tell you :)
@bengeekly Another question. Makers are notoriously protective of their schedule ref https://www.paulgraham.com/makersschedule.html and @busmark_w_nika recent viral LI post: https://lnkd.in/p/eEe9bZ3m how do you ballance deep-focus and surfacing for air for other peoples input. I struggle with this alot. Esp now that i have 10 agents nagging me all day as well, whats your insights into user patters around this? Im just curious about ya'll's POV 😸
@busmark_w_nika @alchemist_studio What is usually hard calls and why I also hate them is the schedule organization part. If you do a call at the same time, with the same questions everyday as a habit, it's completely different. It become easy and in our case useful.
Also only the first 15mins of the call is mandatory, a clear rule is: As soon as it become a discussion, feel free to go.
Like you I have many agents... I end up sometimes doing things just because I have enough power credits, and it feels like a waste to not do it. I believe it became even more important now to plan once a week, then to stick to it, anything outside the plan is procrastination.
@busmark_w_nika @bengeekly the ritual observation is interesting! I like that. Could that be something you lead with? Because for me "A daily accountability call" (on your landingpage) sounds like at some point in the day, soudns like work 😸. The same time is more interesting. Thanks for your thoughts!
