I recently saw a marketer with 10k+ followers launch and finish 6th with 348 upvotes. They followed a proper pre-launch and post-launch plan, did everything right, and still the outcome felt unpredictable.
Now I m launching @Curatora next week.
I m not a marketer. I have a little over 1k followers. Of course, asking for support helps. But I also keep hearing that a large part of the Product Hunt community shows up mainly for their own launch, then goes quiet until the next one.
That makes me wonder: how much of success here is strategy, and how much is timing and network effect?
Curatora
👋 Hey Product Hunters, thanks for checking our launch ❤️
I’m Mohammed, co-founder and maker of Curatora.io
Curatora did not start as a content ideas tool.
We originally built it as a content discovery and social media publishing product. The idea was to help teams find content and schedule posts from one place. But as we watched how people actually used it, a pattern became impossible to ignore.
Discovery was the hard part. Publishing was not.
Everyone we spoke to said the same thing. Scheduling tools were everywhere. AI could generate posts instantly. But finding content ideas that felt timely, relevant, and intentional was still painfully manual.
At the same time, generic AI slop was flooding feeds. It made one thing clear to us. Great content still connects when it is created with intent, grounded in what audiences are already discussing.
That insight pushed us to pivot.
Today, Curatora focuses entirely on content idea discovery. Under the hood, it continuously scans thousands of real articles across hundreds of categories, filters out low-signal noise, and surfaces share-worthy ideas based on what is genuinely gaining traction. We are not trying to replace human creativity. We are trying to give creators and marketers better inputs to start from.
Curatora is also built with an API-first approach. We are actively exploring partnerships and integrations with content generation tools, social media management platforms, and internal content systems. If you are building in this space and want access to curated content signals, we would love to talk.
I would love to hear:
- How you currently discover content ideas
- Where that process breaks down
- What you would want Curatora to do next
I would absolutely love to know what you think of the tool, that's how we improve it! Try it out -> Curatora.io
Thanks for checking it out. I will be around all day to answer questions and learn from your feedback 🙌
