@kjosephabraham Honestly, it's been solving my own problem! Every time Convertkit charged me for doing nothing was a fire in my belly haha. Good thing I've been free of that for over a year. I've loved every second of it!

@mksaint13 Good questions. Re: differences, here are some of the big ones: - Pricing: This is our core differentiator. We're not cheap, we're fair. Pay for usage, and don't blindly make cooperations richer. - Deliverability: Convertkit does a decent job here, but Mailchimp has poor deliverability. Ditch them, use us ;) - UX: you have to try the demo to see this. It's better experienced first hand. Convertkit and Mailchimp were not built with the UX standards of 2024. We fixed that. - Customization: we have modern email templates (influenced by real-world brands). We have customisable newsletter pages (Mailchimp doesn't. Convertkit is weak here) etc. For balance: Convertkit and Mailchimp have better integrations. We're actively working to get on par with them. We're confident we'll keep prioritising the integrations our users demand, and ship quickly!

@ralic Good question! In reality yes, but we've not enabled this in the UI (yet). If users request this, we'll do it. But our systems support both.

This is a pretty cool idea that focuses on a big segments of people who don't send out emails often. Maybe someone who runs sales once a quarter or month. Or maybe someone who just needs a free tier plan to kick start their newsletter. I think there is lots of potential for the newsletter aspect - obvious there are lots of features where a few dedicated platforms have an advantage, but good for already built emails. Congrats on the launch @ohansemmanuel and team! It always feels great solving your own problem first because you can empathize, build the right features and dogfood to improve!

@tonyhanded I love your comment, you're spot on. I do think there's a lot to improve in our newsletter feature and it's got massive potential. Like you say some things will come with time e.g., Beehiv has greater monetisation strategies (this is something we lack right now) Thanks for the support!
