I built BAYBOLT because I’m done wasting half my day hunting for parts like a caveman. Back when I was turning wrenches full-time, nothing killed momentum faster than needing a simple alternator or control arm and having to bounce between AllData, Mitchell, RockAuto, the dealer’s parts site, eBay, Amazon, and three different local suppliers—each with their own clunky search, pop-ups, and 90-second load times. You finally find the right part, scribble the price and link on a scrap of paper (or worse, in your phone notes), then two hours later you’re trying to remember which pile of scribbled notes or open browser tabs belongs to which customer’s car. By the end of the week you’ve got sticky notes on the dash, screenshots you can’t find, and you’re still double-checking that the $180 “OEM” part on eBay actually fits Mrs. Johnson’s Grand Caravan and not the one from 2014 that looks identical. BAYBOLT fixes exactly that pain: scan the VIN once, instantly know the exact year/make/model/engine/trim, search every major parts source at once with plain English (“brakes,” “water pump,” “left axle”), see real prices and photos in seconds, tap to throw it straight into that vehicle’s project, and walk away with a clean quote or PDF that actually makes sense to the customer. No more lost tabs, no more wrong parts, no more mental overhead—just fast, accurate lookups and one single place where every part for every job lives until the car rolls out. I built the tool I wished existed every single day I was under a lift.
