Hey folks, Ohad here, cofounder of Master of Pushups and an avid calisthenics practitioner. Over the past year, I’ve been fortunate to merge two of my biggest passions: fitness and AI. Together with my cofounder, an AI and computer vision expert, we set out to solve a challenge that so many fitness enthusiasts face—keeping track of workouts while ensuring proper form. The result is Master of Pushups, an iPhone app that turns your camera into your personal fitness coach. Using advanced AI and computer vision, our app tracks your push-up repetitions and ensures each rep meets proper form standards. Our goal isn’t just to count your push-ups—it’s to make every rep count. We want to empower you to focus on the workout, while the app takes care of the tracking and guidance. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, we hope Master of Pushups becomes your ultimate fitness companion. Today, we’re thrilled to launch the app on Product Hunt. It’s the first step toward our vision of combining cutting-edge technology with the simplicity and joy of bodyweight training. We’d love for you to give it a try and share your feedback—it’s what keeps us improving and innovating. Let’s make those push-ups count! Cheers, Ohad Cofounder, Master of Pushups

@ohad_sheffer1 "Master of Pushups is such an innovative concept—combining advanced motion detection with health and fitness is a fantastic idea! I have a couple of questions: Beyond push-ups, are there plans to support other exercises in the future? One reason I often seek out a personal trainer is for the human connection—a coach or partner who motivates me to stay consistent. How does the app address the challenge of keeping users engaged over time without that personal touch? I think the idea is great, but I wonder if the user scenario might need further validation to address these aspects. Looking forward to seeing how this evolves!"

@sonu_goswami2 Many thanks!

I think that this one is my favourite this day :) I like exercising and active lifestyle cause I work at the desktop a lot. (Exercising is compensation.) Happy to see more exercises that could be mastered in technique.

@busmark_w_nika Wow, this gave me goosebumps! 😊 Hopefully this is the first of many exercises to come, depends on how much love we'll get from the audience :)

Congrats! As a push-up enthusiast myself, I'd suggest adding support for variations like wide-grip, close-grid, and diamond push-ups, as these different movements target different muscle groups effectively.

@zhiqi_shi Good call, we'll put it on our roadmap

This looks amazing and super relevant for me—I work out without a trainer and I’m never quite sure if my technique is correct. Excited to try it out!

This is so good! Too often people overlook proper push-up technique and don’t reap the benefits from them that they could. This will work well to help solve that.
Ohad Sheffer
@jackchristian We hope so too! Thanks Jack!
