ZFOLD8 Manager gives the Galaxy Z Fold 8's cover and inner screens their own display size and switches automatically when you fold or unfold. Half-fold opens Flex laptop mode with a touchpad, keyboard and media controls. Works with Shizuku or root.

Hi, I'm Dale from Lab Rats. I made ZFOLD8 Manager because the Fold 8's cover and inner screens really want different display sizes, and Android only gives you one setting for both. The app keeps a separate size for each screen and switches the moment you fold or unfold. When you half-fold the phone, Flex mode turns the bottom half into a touchpad with a keyboard and media controls, so it works like a small laptop. Setup works two ways: Shizuku (no root) or root. For root we use DirtyFrag, which is a temporary soft root. Nothing is flashed, the bootloader stays locked, and a restart fully removes root. Tested on our own Galaxy Z Fold 8: Knox stays at 0x0, so the warranty flag isn't tripped. It's free on Google Play. Demo video:
