Hey Product Hunt 👋 We built ZeroSphere around a simple idea: AI shouldn't have to take over your desktop to use your computer. Give AI its own display, let it work in real applications, and keep your own desktop yours. For this launch, we wanted to show that idea in action. We gave AI access to Fusion 360 and let it build a complete race car while working inside its own virtual display. Would love to hear what applications you'd want to see AI use through ZeroSphere.
How did Astra change the scope or ambition of what you built?
Astra changed how aggressively we could ship ZeroSphere. From September 3 to 12, we used Astra heavily for testing and hardening the app. It helped us uncover bugs, regression issues, security problems, and failures in hardcoded machine functions that we could fix before shipping. What surprised us most was how effective Astra was at testing the product. It exposed failures that we might otherwise have discovered much later, letting us patch and retest them rapidly. Instead of spending a much longer cycle manually testing every change, we could iterate much faster and ship with more confidence. That shortened our development cycle significantly and allowed us to push ZeroSphere from active development to a public Microsoft Store release on September 15. Astra did not change the core idea of ZeroSphere. It changed how quickly and confidently we could turn that idea into a working product.
