ZenMode - LinkedIn automation that runs on your machine, not the cloud

by
Most LinkedIn tools run in the cloud using shared proxies. That's how accounts get flagged and restricted. ZenMode is a desktop app that runs locally. Your IP, your browser session. LinkedIn sees normal activity from a real device. Campaign builder, unified inbox, multi-account support, AI message personalisation, and safety limits that mimic human behaviour. For SDRs, founders, and recruiters who need to scale LinkedIn outreach without risking their accounts.

Hey Product Hunt! Jonathan here, solo founder of ZenMode. Quick backstory: I spent years running LinkedIn outreach campaigns for B2B sales. Every tool I tried ran in the cloud, routing my activity through shared proxies and data centres. The result? Restricted accounts, lost connections, wasted time. LinkedIn can tell when your activity is coming from a server farm instead of a real device. So I built something different. ZenMode is a desktop app that runs locally on your machine. Your IP address, your browser session, your cookies. Everything stays on your computer. LinkedIn sees normal human activity from a real device because that's exactly what it is. What's inside: - Campaign builder that works with both standard LinkedIn search and Sales Navigator - Smart sequencing for connection requests, follow-ups, and messages - Unified inbox to manage all your LinkedIn conversations in one place - Multi-account support (up to 5 LinkedIn accounts) - AI-powered message personalization so your outreach doesn't read like a template - Built-in safety limits that mimic human behavior patterns Here's the part that usually surprises people: I'm not an engineer. I have zero engineering background. I built ZenMode entirely using AI tools. Every line of code, every feature, every bug fix. The campaign automation, the inbox, the multi-account system, all of it. If you'd told me a year ago I'd ship a full Electron desktop app with this feature set, I'd have laughed. ZenMode is built for SDRs, founders, recruiters, and anyone who relies on LinkedIn outreach but doesn't want to gamble with their account. I'd genuinely love your feedback: - Is the value proposition clear from the landing page? - Does the pricing feel justified for the feature set? - If you're using a LinkedIn tool already, what would it take for you to switch? - Any features you'd expect to see that are missing? Every upvote and honest opinion means a lot. Happy to answer any questions below!

Hi Everyone, our launch is now LIVE!

Please support this tool and this launch if you're willing to - a lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into building this as a solo founder, and I'm really driven to support everyones outreach automation with a safe and effective tool, utilizing all the latest AI/tech available to optimize LinkedIn strategies.

Now, bear in mind this is an MVP - there's is a huge amount on the roadmap and things that will need fixing/improving - this tool is brand new and just launching today. Please report any bugs via the peacock, the "report issue" button at the bottom of the desktop app itself, or via hello@zen-mode.io if needed and I'll get back to you asap.

Once you've setup the tool, if you have any questions check the "Ask the Peacock" feature in the bottom left - the Peacock is very cool and the Peacock knows all about getting set up, but hopefully the guides should be clear.

There's a free trial available for 7 days if anyone wants to try it out before anything else.

Let me know if you have any questions or need support.

Cheers!
Jonathan

@jonathan_lis I like the idea of the local browser tool; it’s great. However, I checked the roadmap, and I’m hesitant to try a subscription before those "in progress" features are fully developed, because those are the features I really want.

I used SendPilot, and they have similar features, but if your tool comes with features like user engagement—and the list of features you already mentioned that I need—then it would be worth it.

The price of $49 per month is fine, but as an early adopter, I would expect a good discount. If so, we can help promote it in our own ways as well.

I’m about to set this up for my cold outreach. I’ve honestly been looking everywhere for something like this, so this is really helpful.

@paula_nwadiaro Thanks so much Paula! There's a free trial option under pricing if you want to get a feel for the app first, and feel free to reach out any time if you need support!
