The website gives no info on the product whatsoever. The design is great, but how does this actually differ from the competition? I'd love to see some screenshots, GIFs and actual features.
Yea... from the LP the only "features" are that it's built on AWS and _better_
and pricing!
Thanks for the feedback on the site. You're right, the features page is a little buried. You can find it by clicking the "Start building" button: Sunshine is the new brand for Zendesk's developer platform. Our most innovative customers have long been using Zendesk as a platform but we never actually gave it a name before. With the announcement of Sunshine we're giving it a name and significantly deepening our developer-first offerings with some new APIs that are generally available today (Custom Objects & Relationships), some that are in beta (Events), and some more that are coming in 2019 (Profiles, Conversations). You can see a list of the new and upcoming APIs under "Customer Data":
Oops sorry about that. The features page is buried behind the "Start building" button.
honestly, I think that the Features page should be your homepage 😅
So I checked on the product and look interesting, I clicked on the start your trial button and it lead me to start up a zendesk trial account. Within the account after logged in, there are no trace of the new "Sunshine product". Am I missing something?
Exactly the same here. Click on start building, page links to the same page. Click 'Start your trial' - just the register page, signin & the exact same Zendesk Agent page. What a waste of 15mins. No information, no pricing or screenshots!
Same! Feels like a bait and switch. :-(
i think its more q drift/intercom/hubspot competitor than SFDC
Wow! Way easier than developing for other ecosystems. Really interested in learning more about accessing data across data sources without it all having to be in Zendesk.
when are you launching it?
I'd love to see at least one screenshot of what it actually looks like.
No why would you go and say that this is a CRM when it in fact is a developer platform? Let's call a donkey a donkey, eyh?
I must say, I'm quite excited about Sunshine. I love the freedom afforded by an open CRM and imagine it will have a fairly significant impact on the industry.
