ZapTask - Work with your energy, not against it

byβ€’
ZapTask is an energy-aware desktop widget that organizes your day around your natural peaks. It connects Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Notion, Todoist, Google Calendar, Outlook, and more into a unified task view, then schedules demanding or routine work to the right hours. Use the built-in Pomodoro timer, timeboxing, and keyboard-driven controls to plan and focus without tab-switching. It runs on macOS and Windows with a free tier and a Pro plan

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Malachi, the maker of ZapTask. I built this because I was tired of juggling tabs between Jira, Notion, Todoist, and Google Calendar just to figure out what to work on next. Every morning started with the same ritual β€” check 4 different apps, mentally piece together my day, then lose that mental map by lunch. ZapTask is a small desktop widget that sits on your screen and pulls all your tasks into one place. But the part I'm most excited about is the energy-based scheduling β€” it matches tasks to how you actually feel throughout the day. Deep focus work in the morning when you're sharp, lighter tasks after lunch when energy dips. Instead of a rigid to-do list, you get suggestions that adapt to your natural rhythm. It started as a simple task aggregator, but the more I used it the more I realized the real problem wasn't seeing my tasks β€” it was deciding which one to do right now. That's where the energy matching came in, and it honestly changed how I work. A few things I'd love feedback on: - Which integrations matter most to you? (We support Jira, Notion, Todoist, Asana, Monday, Google Calendar, and Outlook β€” with more coming) - How do you currently decide what to work on when everything feels urgent? Available for macOS and Windows. Would love to hear what you think!
