Hey folks! Wade here, Zapier co-founder + CEO. Since we launched Zapier over 10 years ago, we've heard similar feedback: Zapier is great for ongoing automation, but managing bulk and historical data is still tough. Our users came up with creative workarounds, but we wanted the experience to feel completely uncomplicated.
We built Transfer to make working with bulk data—no matter when it's from—incredibly easy.
Transfer lets you move batches of data, on demand, from select partners to any of Zapier's 3,000+ integrations. It grabs records from your web apps from any time period, then gives you a slick interface where you can pick and choose exactly what you want to move.
During testing, we've seen folks use Transfer to:
* Onboard new apps to their business by filling them with business-critical data from an existing tool. For example, if you're setting up a new email marketing app, you can use Transfer to move customers from an eCommerce platform to your mailing list.
* Manage large-scale data projects, like setting up meeting invites and Zoom links for hundreds of clients.
* Streamline ongoing data management, where teams need to move info from surveys, ad campaigns, and request forms on a regular basis.
Transfer is available now as a beta. It can grab data from a select number of launch partners, and you can try it out on Zapier's free plan. We can't wait to see what you do with it!
@wadefoster are there any plans to enable your partners to get analytics on their built integration apps any time on the roadmap ahead? was very surprised that Zapier did not have this functionality for its partners, yet it is an API/integration company...

I love this and would have found it super useful at some point, but charging the same price as a regular Zap is very expensive for bulk data management.
