YouTrends - Brought Back the YouTube Trending Page, But Better.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm the maker of YouTrends, and I built this out of a simple frustration I'm sure many of you share: I really missed the old YouTube Trending page. It was always my go-to place to get a quick snapshot of what was capturing attention in different parts of the world, from music to news to viral moments. When YouTube removed it, I felt like a valuable window into internet culture was lost. So, I decided to build a replacement. YouTrends is a straightforward, no-nonsense utility that does one thing: it brings back the trending page. Using the official YouTube Data API, it shows you the top 50 trending videos for over 100 countries, with a clean UI that includes categories, ranks, and a sticky header for easy navigation. The entire project is built with static HTML/CSS/JS and is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so it's incredibly fast. I've also implemented caching on the backend to ensure the site is scalable and stays within the YouTube API's free quota, even with high traffic. I built this for myself, but I'm launching it today because I know there are millions of others who miss this feature too.
