You Will Die in X Weeks 2.0 - A stark reminder of the finiteness of life

An interactive visualization of how many weeks you have to live. Realizing that there is a finite, countable number of weeks you have to live is a great way to stop procrastinating! Now with a gratitude journal and daily reminders.

Hi Product Hunt! I made this interactive visualization builder three years ago based on a waitbutwhy post. Since then lots of people have used it and let me know it was equal parts awesome and scary. Many have mentioned it's scared them into not wasting time! Now you can save the visualization and return to the site and have it automatically update. Also, there's a free, private gratitude journal on the site and there's a streak tracker! I plan on adding more practices later this year. Would love to hear what you think. Best, Shah
How are you calculating life expectancy?
It's not calculated, it's using 90 years, but the goal is to visualize it in weeks and the number becomes very finite. 4,000 weeks feels visceral compared to 90 years.
Always a good reminder of our own mortality .. congrats on the launch!
We don't "die", we "lose platform". You should check out my "platform theory" ... very conveniently useful ;) But still, no reason to procrastinate ...
thanks for checking it out! where can I find theory?
I understand the stoicism but hoe does this play out with longevity prolongation due to technology progress
