Hi there :)
There are two main reasons why I decided to create Yibber:
(1) As an extremely heavy consumer of anything audio (podcasts, music, etc.), I always thought that something essential is missing from today's audio streaming platforms, such as Spotify and Apple Music. In short, there is no social interaction between content creators and content consumers on these platforms. For example, there is no way to like or comment on audio posts and there is no way to send DM's or follow requests to audio content creators.
On Yibber, content creators and content consumers can easily interact with each other through social elements, such as likes, comments, DM's, and following requests.
(2) Currently, it is not uncommon that audio content creators, especially podcasters, use three different apps or tools from the creation stage to the distribution stage – one app for recording (e.g. Skype or Zoom), one app for editing (e.g. Garageband or audacity), and one app for distribution (e.g. Spotify).
Yibber, however, simplifies the process of creating audio content. On Yibber, you can record, edit, and distribute your audio content in only a few taps. In addition to this, you can invite up to 5 other users to participate in your recording via the invite feature – so basically, 6 users can be on separate phones, on separate locations, and create audio content together.
Give me some feedback! Let's get the discussion going :)
