Yappo - Meet New People

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Alan, the maker of Yappo. Like a lot of people, I grew up using random chat websites. They were exciting because you never knew who you'd meet next. Over time, though, most of them became filled with bots, spam, outdated interfaces, or simply shut down. The magic was gone. I started building Yappo to bring back that feeling—but with a modern experience. Instead of copying what existed, I focused on making the product fast, clean, mobile-friendly, and easy to jump into. Every screen was redesigned from the ground up to remove friction and make conversations feel more natural. Building a random chat platform also comes with unique challenges. Matching people instantly, keeping the experience smooth, and continuously improving moderation have been some of the biggest ones. We're still early, and there's a lot more on the roadmap, but today's launch is about getting real feedback from people who love trying new products.
