Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built WorthCalc because many everyday money decisions are presented with one attractive number: a monthly payment, a small fee, a discount or a projected saving. But the real answer often changes once you include recurring costs, time, declining balances, maintenance and the assumptions behind the calculation. WorthCalc is my attempt to make those decisions easier to inspect. The site currently includes free tools for questions such as: • What is the real annualized cost of an installment plan? • How much will recurring subscriptions cost over several years? • What does commuting cost when time is included? • When might buying become cheaper than renting? • When does an EV become cheaper than a gasoline vehicle? A few principles guided the project: 1. No signup should be required. 2. Personal calculation inputs should stay in the browser. 3. Formulas and assumptions should be visible. 4. Results should show what could change the conclusion. 5. The tools should be understandable on a phone, not only on a spreadsheet. WorthCalc is still growing, and I would genuinely appreciate feedback from this community. Which would be more useful for the next release? • Mortgage early-payoff planner • Credit-card payoff planner • Personal budget builder • Debt snowball vs avalanche comparison • Home or car affordability calculator I would also love to hear which input, assumption or explanation feels unclear in the current tools. Thanks for checking it out.
