Worth: Expense Mood Journal - Discover which purchases are actually worth it
by•
Most expense trackers tell you where your money went. Worth tells you how each purchase made you feel. Log expenses, rate them from Regret to Best Purchase, attach notes and photos, and discover patterns with mood insights, monthly reports, and Home Screen widgets. Instead of only tracking your budget, learn which spending genuinely improves your life and cut back on purchases you'll regret.

Genuinely love the mood rating idea, it actually made me think twice about a couple of recent impulse buys. The Home Screen widget is a nice touch for quick check-ins without opening the app.
@zerdazdemikhql Thanks! I'm really glad the idea resonated with you. That moment of pausing to ask, "Was this actually worth it?" is exactly what inspired me to build Worth. And I'm happy the Home Screen widget caught your eye too. One of our main goals was to make logging as quick and frictionless as possible, so it never feels like a chore.
The mood tagging with Regret to Best Purchase feels so thoughtfully designed, makes logging feel less like budgeting and more like actual self-reflection.
@mihribaneipp Thank you! That was exactly the intention behind the design. I didn't want Worth to be another budgeting app focused only on numbers. The goal is to encourage a moment of reflection after each purchase, because understanding how you feel about your spending can be just as valuable as knowing how much you spent.
love the mood angle, way more interesting than another boring budget app. one thing i'd want is being able to compare my mood ratings side by side with categories like dining out vs groceries so i can spot which spending buckets actually lift me up instead of just trusting a gut feeling.
@hayrunnisae2mv Thank you! I love that idea too. Comparing mood ratings across categories is definitely on the roadmap. I think it would make it much easier to see which types of spending consistently bring happiness and which ones tend to lead to regret. Hopefully I'll be able to add it in a future update!
Love the mood angle, this feels different from every other tracker out there. One thing that would really help me spot patterns faster is a weekly summary notification that calls out my top regret purchase and best purchase of the week, so I get a little nudge to reflect without having to open the app and dig through reports.
@adilhrel7rew Thanks for the suggestion! That's actually pretty close to what Worth already does. Every Monday, the app sends a notification letting you know your weekly summary is ready. The summary highlights your most regretful purchase and your best purchase from the previous week, making it easy to reflect without digging through your entries. If you have ideas for making those summaries even more useful, I'd love to hear them!
Logging a coffee and tagging it "meh" felt surprisingly useful, and the mood trend chart actually made me rethink a couple of habits already.
@sude1363931 Thanks! That's exactly the kind of experience I was hoping for!
