Woodpecker.co - Cold email and follow-up, simplified

Woodpecker interests me because in the right circumstances for a B2B, a well-targeted and well--researched cold email can be an effective marketing tactic. There are few dedicated tools to support this activity. None of the usual promotional email providers support emailing without an opt-in, likely to protect their statuses as safe and reliable senders. You can use add-ins to gmail, but my experiences with cold-email out of gmail haven't had good open rates -- YMMV. Not sure if Woodpecker is a remailer or how it works. Still in beta -- I'm on the list.
