Soapbox by Wistia - Chrome extension to record, edit, and share videos.

@bhas Not yet, but we likely will build a way to export the videos soon and possibly add push to YouTube functionality.

@hadifarnoud right now Soapbox is just a stand alone product, so you can't export it anywhere (including to Wistia), but we're looking at including that soon, and will ensure you can send it wherever (YouTube, Facebook etc...). We don't want to lock people into using the Wistia core product for distribution of Soapbox videos.

@imdaeshawn The transitions too - so you can switch between the full screen webcam, full screen screencast and the split screen too.

@rodion_telpizov Hey Rodion, sorry to hear it didn't work. We're definitely pushing Chrome to the limits with this extension. There is a bug in Chrome that causes either the webcam or the screen not to record. Unfortunately the only fix is to restart Chrome 😬. So if you're interested in giving it one more shot, I'd give that a go and see if it fixes it. Appreciate you checking out Soapbox!

@surjithctly @philnottingham Thanks for the feedback, Surjith. In an earlier version of the product, we had a way to record just the screen or just the webcam, but we decided to remove those options since the appeal of Soapbox is being able to record both and transition between them. If you're just looking for screen sharing only, I think there are better products out there!

@brendan Found the problem. Chrome said it was "up-to-date" but I still needed to download a newer version. Works fine now.
