Flow is literally addictive. I've waited for hours to get out of class just so I can type using Flow and not by hand. Great job team, on building an experience that feels this magical <3

Great for easy dictation. I have been using Dragon Naturally Speaking for 20+ years on Windows and Mac but Wispr is easier to use. Also DNS was expensive with costly updates that didn't bring better usability. And the most stunning thing about Wispr is, that it understands even specialized vocabulary without training.

@walter_comper Appreciate the kind words, Walter

I've been spending more and more time on Slack at work lately and that means less time actually building stuff - Wispr is going to change that! Feels like I can type at the speed of thought now πŸš€

@wizardgupta Exactly - you can now work as fast as you think

I'm writing this comment using Wispr Flow right now, actually. I've tried every single voice AI ever since ChatGPT released voice mode. I basically stopped talking to people and only talked to LLMs, which turns out is a great way to learn them. But it was like I always found myself reaching for my phone because, even on desktop, I tried BetterDictation, ChatGPT, and like my own so many others - there was nothing really like that just felt you know, just right. Then like about a week ago I see people on Twitter (I try to curate closely who I follow) and I see quite a few people mention Wispr Flow so I check it out. Yesterday, before this launch I just like found their slack and I messaged them asking them why they're not like charging me for this product, because it really like it shows how like even in like what seems like a crowded space, you know, sometimes you can like make such a good product. If you just nail all these tiny things *just right* - you still stand far above the rest. That's how I feel about Wispr Flow so um I'm like not posting any you know referral links or whatever I'm just posting this because I genuinely feel it's that good. It's that damn good of a product. @tanaykothari plz ship mobile version ASAP I need a keyboard version this inside Claude πŸ™‡

Go team! So happy to have been able to contribute to this product this summer. No better feeling than working on something you actually use. Mostly, I use Flow to speedrun schoolwork and chat with LLMs. πŸ”₯

I used Flow for multiple regional (Indian) as well as global languages for some fun stress-testing. Gotta say, love the accuracy of the multilingual scripts and dialects, and that's especially impressive given that this is only the first iteration of such a product. Certainly beats the multilingual support of all the big-shot voice dictation offerings that I've dipped my toes into over the years - and by a large margin at that. Talk of a moat! From an ethical perspective, I deeply appreciate that the toggle on personal data usage for training Wispr's models is off by default. I know you guys didn't NEED to do that (given that none of the leading AI companies leave it off by default), but the fact that you chose to do it anyway shows your broader commitment to doing the right thing and makes me feel like I can trust Wispr with my most crucial personal and professional correspondence without worrying about anything shady going on under the hood with my data, be it behavioural data or otherwise. Not to mention, for a company that aims to radically boost the ways in which everyday people interface with any and all computers, I don't know if there could be a higher honour than getting an endorsement from Woz, who's essentially the father of the personal computer revolution. I know he rarely offers such an endorsement, which makes this one mean all the more for Flow's credibility in the eyes of a veteran tinkerer. Will Flow offer models other than Perplexity in future releases?

@adarsh_raj_bhatt Thank you for such a touching note! We would love to support other models in the future updates!

This is one of the best AI apps out there. Besides the usual large language models, this application helps me through the day to be way more productive. I think.. I waffle.. and then Wispr or Flow makes my output look professional.
