Work in Progress - A community of makers shipping together 🚧

Work in Progress is a community of makers. We help each other stay accountable and focussed on building, shipping, and growing our products.

We publicly share our todos, celebrate our successes, discuss our failures, track our goals, and provide each other with actionable feedback.

Don't ship by yourself, ship together!

It's inspiring how Marc has built this community of makers by constantly iterating through a feedback loop. It feels amazing to be part of this community from the start. 😻

WIP is a super nice community! There's lots of spice 🌶️ and lots of shipping 🚢 I've been shipping everyday for the past 2 weeks and it's been great sharing in WIP. I get immediate feedback and motivation ☺️ Look at me working - https://wip.chat/@jajoosam (10 projects!)

I have been very productive for the last 70 days. The gamification of keeping your streak (shipping every day) going is addictive. Money making makers are already in the groups, & their comments on what works and what doesn't is quite valuable.

Pros:

Dope community, veterans & beginners all come together for the common goal of shipping stuff, usually every day!

Cons:

Lack option of collecting emails or any means of gathering interest for your products among the community itself

Thanks for your review Ashish! Adding email capture is an interesting idea for sure. Might add it at some point!

I joined WIP on day 1, in a period where I was less motivated and inclined to work on my own stuff. Slowly but surely, having all those makers around led me to give it another go and start working on a new product. I've shipped for almost 40 days straight now, yet I lost my streak recently :) WIP is not just a motivator or place to ask questions – it's also a great watercooler. It's nice that people are spread across the globe and there's always someone to talk to. Thanks @marckohlbrugge, great work so far.

I joined WIP community last year. Great to see how much it evolve since than. Community members are very helpful. You can get help on any part of product building from conception to shipping. It a place to explore new things are in progress. It keeps you motivated to ship new things.

WIP is awesome! It’s basically an awesome “collection” (if we may call it that) of makers around the world. I’ve met people building things that i’ve otherwise wouldn’t see. The community is always willing to help, as long as you help back!
