What if finding creative collaborators felt more human?
I’m building Windervale Labs [windervale.com], a platform for emerging and independent creatives, writers, artists, musicians, filmmakers, photographers, and everyone in between.
One thing I kept noticing is that discovering creative people online is weirdly fragmented. You might find someone on Instagram, another person through a random Discord, an opportunity on LinkedIn, and a collaborator through sheer luck.
I wanted to build something more intentional.
Windervale is built around people, projects, and opportunities, with features like Human Mapping that help you discover people based on what they create, what they’re interested in, and where your creative paths overlap.
We’re still early, and I’m trying to figure out what this should ultimately become rather than pretending I already have all the answers.
For the creatives here: how do you currently find collaborators, communities, or opportunities?
And if you could change one thing about how creative people discover each other online, what would it be?
Would genuinely love to hear your thoughts. 🖤
