when - Write letters delivered at life's most meaningful moments.
by•
Most tools are built for right now. when is built for later.
Write letters to the people you love, delivered at life's most meaningful moments. Schedule for a known date or store it for moments you can't predict. Assign a trusted contact to trigger delivery, even if you're no longer here.
Row-level security means no one, not even us, can read your letters until the moment arrives.

I built When because I kept thinking about all the words people carry but never say.
Not because they don't feel them. But because the moment never comes, or they assume there'll be more time.
The problem I was solving: there's no safe, meaningful place to put the things you want someone to hear at exactly the right moment. Email feels transactional. Notes apps feel temporary. Nothing was built for the weight of a letter meant for your daughter's wedding day or the morning your son becomes a father.
What surprised me during building: people kept asking "what if I don't know the date yet?" That question changed everything. It pushed me to build two paths. Schedule it for moments with a known date. Store it for moments you can't predict, with a trusted contact who can release it when the time comes.
When isn't a productivity tool. It's a legacy tool. And I'd love to know: what moment would you write for?

Great concept. Tried it out right away. Saved and sealed one letter. And it couldn't have gone smoother
