Desivity v2: Built for Creatives - And the Safety Suite for everyone else.

by•
Creators are scattered across Dribbble, Behance, LinkedIn, Squarespace, Wix, Discord, Instagram. Identity is fragmented. Hiring managers are drowning in AI-faked portfolios. Real talent gets buried. We launched the Social tier April 30. Pro and Creator tiers ship June 1. Business tier July 31. Safety Suite coming soon. This is v2. We're not the end-all-be-all. We're building this in the open. Hi Product Hunt šŸ‘‹ November we promised. Today we're back with v2. Built honestly. Rolling out in stages. Creatives are scattered across Dribbble, Behance, LinkedIn, Squarespace, Wix, Discord, Instagram. Identity is fragmented. The right people can't see who you actually are. I said we were going to fix that. Today I'm back. We did. But the problem got worse while we were building, and I want to name it clearly because it's the real one: For creators: I spend 20+ hours a week applying. Updating my resume. Updating my portfolio across multiple platforms because none of them hold all of it. Hunting for the job. Tailoring the application. Doing it again the next day. With the layoffs hitting this industry, that's not a side activity — it's a second job. And it never ends, because the moment you finish updating one platform, the next one is out of date. Today I'm back with v2. We're not the end-all-be-all and I'm not going to pretend we are. We offer features most platforms don't, we're building this in the open, and we have a clear rollout ahead. Here's where we actually are: FOR CREATORS: They spend 20+ hours a week applying. Updating their resumes. Updating their portfolios across multiple platforms because none of them hold all of it. Hunting for the job. Tailoring the application. And doing it again the next day. With the layoffs hitting this industry, that's not a side activity — it's a second job. And it never ends. FOR HIRING MANAGERS: Inboxes are flooded with AI-fabricated resumes and AI-fabricated portfolios. Work the applicant didn't make, for skills they don't have. Hiring managers can't tell what's real. They make a bad hire, lose the money, lose the time, and the talented creator who should have gotten that role never made it past the noise. Both CREATORS and HIRING MANAGERS are losing. No platform built in the last 22 years was designed for this moment. Desivity is for the entire creative collective — graphic designers, illustrators, UX/UI/product/service designers, photographers, videographers, animators, content creators, musicians, podcasters, writers, performers, researchers, and the creators who don't fit a single label. Hobbyists to pros. If you create, you belong. What we shipped and what's next: * Social tier — live April 30, 2026. Open to everyone, not just creators. This is the front door — profiles, connections, the social layer of the platform. * Pro and Creator tiers — June 1, 2026. The builders. Resume builder, portfolio builder, body of work builder for any creative discipline, and media kits. Stop rebuilding yourself across Squarespace and Wix. Build it once, here. * Business tier — July 31, 2026. For studios and companies hiring at scale. * Safety Suite — coming soon. For hiring managers and studios (rolling out across the Pro and Business tiers): * Direct access to real, consolidated profiles — no LinkedIn chaos, no inbox roulette * Transparency timeline — every candidate sees when the job posted, when it was reviewed, where they stand. No more ghosting. * Live verification — send a secure link, get video proof of real work completed in a controlled sandbox. Built especially for animation studios, where "did this person actually do this" is the whole question. We don't claim to magically detect every AI-faked portfolio. What we do is give hiring managers a verified place to look, with live verification when the stakes call for it. And then there's the breakout — the piece no one else in this category is building. The Safety Suite. I started building it for creators, because creators are the most visible they've ever been, and right now women creators routinely videotape just to have evidence. That's not okay. But the more I built, the clearer it got: this isn't just a creator problem, and it isn't just a women's problem. It's a society problem. An elderly parent who can't speak when something's wrong. A teenager in a situation they can't talk their way out of. Anyone who needs help and can't ask for it out loud. So the Safety Suite is built for everyone: * Halo — silent trigger. 5-press the side button or a duress PIN. Alerts trusted contacts and, optionally, 911 via RapidSOS. No screen. No notifications. No one knows until help arrives. * Anchor — share location with trusted people for up to 24 hours. Missed check-ins escalate to Halo automatically. * Sentinel — official emergency alerts. Tornado warnings. Amber Alerts. Wherever you are. Configure it for yourself. Configure it for a parent. Configure it for a kid. Every professional platform should have something like this. None of them do. The founder built Desivity because no one else would. The answer wasn't another tool to add to the pile. It was one platform that finally brought it all together, built for the reality we're actually hiring in, with a Safety Suite for the world we're actually living in. Verified. Independent. Built for creatives, not built off of them. Where we need help — and what we're asking for: We're already in conversation with domestic violence organizations and the City of Atlanta on partnerships for the Safety Suite. We're actively looking for: * Angel investors and community investment to launch the Safety Suite * Local government partnerships — particularly New York, Chicago, and LA * International partnerships as we expand * Domestic violence organizations who want to build with us, not around us If any of this is you, please reach out. For everyone who showed up in November and reserved a spot — thank you. You're the reason this exists. Would love your feedback, your questions, and your honest takes. I'm here all day. šŸ”— desivity.com — Tarzine Jackson JOIN Desivity: https://desivity.com | PARTNER on Safety Suite: https://desivity.com/safety-suite
