WebWell - A Calmer New Tab, Focus Timer & Site Blocker
by•
WebWell turns your new tab into a calm place to start. Pick one focus, run a timed session with music, and sites you marked as distracting wait until you're done. Screen-time stats stay on your device. Free, open source, for Chrome and Brave.

Hi Product Hunt, I'm Adnan, and I built WebWell.
A year ago I had five extensions doing one job: a new tab dashboard, a Pomodoro timer, a lo-fi music tab, a site blocker and a screen-time tracker. Two wanted a subscription for the useful parts, two wanted an account, and one sent my browsing history to its servers so it could show me charts.
WebWell is all five in one, and none of that.
Your new tab asks for one focus, starts a full-screen timer, plays rain, radio or your own Spotify and SoundCloud while you work, and keeps distracting sites blocked until you're done. When you need a break, the block screen lets you pause instead of fighting you.
Your screen time never leaves your device. There's no account, no server and no paid tier. It's open source, so you don't have to take my word for it.
Free for Chrome and Brave.
If you use a focus or blocker extension today, which one, and what bugs you about it? I want to know what to fix next.
