Hi Product Hunt! I'm Usman, the solo developer behind WebPit. Earlier this year, I launched WebPit as a simple web-based WebP converter. It was useful, but I kept thinking there had to be a better way. Uploading images to websites, waiting for conversions, and repeating the same process over and over didn't fit how professionals actually work. So I rebuilt WebPit from scratch as a native macOS app. Now everything happens locally on your Mac. It's faster, works completely offline, supports batch conversion, watch folders, drag-and-drop, and keeps your images private because nothing is ever uploaded. I built WebPit for developers, designers, marketers, and anyone who regularly optimizes images for the web. This is just the beginning.
