There are millions of people needing data from the internet. Writing scrapers for websites is some work which needs to be paid for. We allow reusing the scrapers by dividing the costs to maintain them on multiple customers eventually even caching the results.

We also talk about problems: In theory defeating bots can be done by blocking 'foreign requests' or by adding captchas cloudflare and whatnot. This makes scraping harder not impossible. Also A/B tests can get into the way and require multiple scrapers to be implemented for the same page. Despite those odds we typically add business value to our customers.
