If you have questions about faith, doctrine, or anything theological, it’s tempting to run to the nearest LLM and have it regurgitate an answer. It’s also risky. Those models — ChatGPT, Claude, etc. — are trained on mountains of content scraped from every crevice of the Internet. There is no curation and no guarantee of a response grounded in a reputable voice of faith.
I’m trying to take a stab at meeting that need with Waymark. Every answer is grounded in hundreds of theological works from the giants of church history, surfaced through a distinctly reformed lens. It’s *still* a soulless tool, but at least it’s one intentionally built on something of substance. Hope it's useful!
