What part of working with AI is hardest to reconstruct later?

by•

The final artifact usually survives. The path behind it often does not: the first assumption, the discarded direction, the evidence that disproved it, or the reason a different approach finally worked.

I built Wayfinder to keep that path local and reviewable across AI collaboration — including research, writing, design, coding, and other project work. Related sessions become voyages, alternative and failed paths stay visible, and each waypoint remains connected to the original conversation, activity, and artifacts.

The current early-access collectors support Codex and Claude Code on macOS and Windows. When you return to a project a week later, which missing context costs you the most time: the decision, the failed attempt, or the evidence that settled it?
