It started in an art class my sophomore year of college, about 13 years ago. I was learning color theory, how colors and patterns carry almost a personality of their own. My professor told me about a year-of-the-arts competition, so I teamed up with a psychology major and we built a survey where your answers generated a t-shirt with colors and designs that matched your personality. A wearable representation of who you are. I didn't win anything, but something clicked that I couldn't shake. Fast forward to graduation. I got a career, started making money, and the idea was still living rent-free in my head. I finally tried to build it out. Hired designers, brought on developers, got scammed, lost a bunch of money, started over. Life kept getting in the way. Then my girlfriend introduced me to the EDM scene. I went to my first raves and festivals and honestly the people got me more than anything. The outfits, the energy, everyone wearing crazy colorful funky stuff, a lot of it homemade. I realized this was exactly the community I had been building for without ever knowing it. I had to get it done. That's Warn Out. No two designs are the same, just like no two people are. Society constantly pushes us into molds and Warn Out pushes back. Every piece is one of one, and you can move the sliders, tweak the colors, and make it exactly yours before you order. The name is warn with an A for a reason. Tired of conformity, and a warning to others that being yourself is always the move. Go play on the site at warnout.co
